Laziness & Procrastination
Effort vs Outcome
Giving birth to a child is extremely painful, but despite knowing this, women often consider having a second child. This is because they focus on the joy of a happy family, not the effort it takes.
The same principle applies to your goals.
Don’t get paralyzed by thinking about the effort; think about the outcome and the results.
Studying math and physics is challenging. But if your goal is to be part of the startup world, to create something meaningful, these subjects are essential. They are the foundation of nature. By learning them, you improve your logical and rational thinking. As a result, you see the world in ways most people don’t. These are exactly the qualities that make founders and innovators successful.
Planting a fruit tree in your garden and taking care of it for years is an awful process, but being able to eat those organic fruits with family and friends brings a different kind of joy.
So, don’t focus on how hard it will be (the effort); instead, focus on the benefits and the results.
